Roadmaps for Investors in Renewable Energy in Serbia

01 Feb 2013

On the basis of the Agreement for the provision of support services with the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection, under the auspices of the “Policy Advice on Renewable Energy Sources” project, UNDP Serbia focused on promoting investments in the renewable energy sector by updating and revising four existing, albeit outdated, Guides for Investors in renewable energy facilities and by elaborating two new Guides in 2012.

Each of the six guides is available as a detailed, bilingual document which describes administrative procedures and identifies relevant institutions and necessary planning and design documents needed for investors. The detailed guides are intended primarily for investors and project developers, but also for officials in different competent institutions, being that the legal procedure is typically cross-sectoral. In addition to the aforementioned detailed documents five roadmaps were produced to navigate the legislative and regulatory framework and to ease the procedure for a wide range of stakeholders (see download section).
