UNDP provides development support to Serbia with the central goal of improving the lives of the people of Serbia, especially the poorest and most vulnerable, and ensuring a future that offers equality, dignity and opportunity for all.

UNDP works in partnership with the Government of Serbia, development partners, UN agencies, civil society and local communities to help identify local solutions to meet global and national development challenges through a range of interventions that combine UNDP’s expertise and comparative advantage in the areas of 1) Sustainable and Inclusive Growth2) Accountable Governance; 3) Women’s Empowerment; and 4) Energy, Environment and Fight against Climate Change

UDDP’s goals in Serbia are part of a wider agenda – the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015, with a mission to go the last mile by 2030 on ending hunger, achieving full gender equality, improving health services and getting every child into school.
