11 Secondary Analysis of Data Obtained from Survey on Income and Living Conditions

Within the support Program for development of social science research, which was implemented on the initiative of the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit in cooperation with United Nations Development Program, 19 researches, that have prepared 11 analytical papers, have been supported.  These papers represent secondary analysis of data obtained from thorough research of Surveys on income and living conditions, Survey of household spending, Workforce survey, as well as the analysis of administrative data, with the goal of comprehensive understanding of the topic and formulation of effective public policies.

The main goal of the program is to establish a deeper understanding of the factors that affect poverty, social exclusion, material deprivation, risk of poverty, inequality, access to the labor market and other important aspects linked to the quality of life of both individuals and families in Serbia.

The program managed to accomplish a deeper research on poverty and living conditions in Serbia, as well as create public policy suggestions based on the information received.

United Nations Development Program and Team for social inclusion are calling for the use of the presented data in further work, as well as for the promotion of findings and recommendations, with hope that in this way, we will encourage a more effective advancement of public policies and contribute to creating a more inclusive and equal society.
